In the Kitchen - Macarons with bitter sweet chocolate ganache



This was my first time....aaannd...Voilà! It worked! Need I say how delicious these fragrant beauties are...? I obviously have a lot of room for improvement...but not bad for the first time, hah?! I'm soo proud of myself...2 days of preparations and i'm glad it didn't all go to waste! :-)

In the Kitchen - Faraona arrosto farcita con bottaggio leggero e fonduta piemontese (Stuffed Guinea fowl)


It took me 3 hours and a half to make this but it was absolutely worth it! Delicious recipie from maestro Sadler. (unfortunately the fotos aren't too good but i figured I'd put them up anyway ; especially after all the hard work!;-)

In the Kitchen - Meat Samosa

This is one of the all time favorites back home (Kenya)... and everytime I make them here in Italy everyone goes crazy for them! I made them yesterday for a dinner with a couple of friends. Served them, and went back into the kitchen to check on the curry and chapatis. After two minutes or so I came back and there was nothing left! 15 samosas gone! I was happy but I would have loved just another taste after all the hard work! :-D

Miscelaneous - Orto Portatile by Iskra Sguera & Katia Mattioli



This beautiful object was designed by a friend of mine. I had to have it! It's a portable garden. Isn't it amazing?

In the Kitchen - Panino with chicken leftovers

Yummy panino with chicken leftovers....

Ingredients:
Shreded chicken leftovers
mustard (as much as you like)
maionese (as much as you like)
arugula

cherry tomatoes
capers
cheese - cedar or swiss emmental

If you like add some fresh cilly
Olive oil
Black pepper
cristal salt or normal salt

Add the maionese, mustard, olive oil, pepper and salt to the chicken and mix it all up and proceede to layer the panino with chicken mixture and remaining ingredient. Enjoy!(great with a glass of chilled white wine)
